The Dolphins stayed put while every other team around them swapped places. I guess it paid off, they seemed to have gotten their man. The Dolphins need a quarterback so it is a position of need for them. Tannehill is a polarizing player. I read so much about him and I can’t tell you anything. He looks like a great quarterback but that QB postion in Miami has been nothing but cursed. I need to see him play.

So who’s going to quarterback the 2012 Dolphins? Miami begin last year with a horrendous start but ended on a high note by winning the last six of nine and knocking the division rival Jets out of the playoffs. Things were looking up for the team. They have a good defense and some offensive weapons. Reggie Bush had his best year as a pro. Daniel Thomas has shown promise but unfortunately the team let Brandon Marshall, their best offensive weapon, go to the Bears. And let’s not forget, Matt Moore played surprisingly not so bad last year. Early in the season Chad Henne was knocked out with a shoulder injury and Matt Moore took over finding some success.
Well Chad Henne is now with the Jags. By all accounts the Dolphins are behind the Titans, Niners and Broncos in the Manning Derby. And today, news broke that Matt Flynn will be going to Seattle. So who does that leave for the Dolphins? How about a quarterback that Peyton Manning would replace? Yup, Alex Smith met with the Dolphins today. No further word at this time but the Dolphins have another interview candidate lined up for this week. Any guesses?

QB Matt Flynn has signed with the Seattle Seahawks for 3 years/$26 Million. $10 Mill of which is guaranteed. Though Flynn is somewhat unproven, he was highly sought after by a few clubs, including the Miami Dolphins, who now have missed on on him & Peyton.
Flynn will battle for the starting gig against vet Tavaris Jackson.

Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler reunited in Chicago. The news is that Chicago is sending their 2012 3rd rounder and their 2013 3rd rounder to Miami for Jay Cutler’s old BFF. Maybe Marshall can get back to that 100+ reception clip he was at when Cutler was with him in Denver.
