Justin Tuck wanted a bigger ring than Michael Strahan’s. And now he’s going to get it.

“(Michael Strahan) talked about the ‘10-table ring,’” Tuck said. “He wanted a ring you could see from 10 tables away.

“I talked about the ‘Restaurant Ring.’ I wanted one that was big enough to see throughout whatever restaurant you go in and see it from each corner.”

Total caret weight 1.36 in diamonds and 1.11 in sapphires.

As part of the grand opening of the newly renamed Harrah’s Philadelphia, international eating legend Takeru Kobayashi threw down a Tony Luke’s 9’ cheesesteak, a cannoli from Varallo, a 10” Margherita pizza from Caffe Napoli and Macaroni & Cheese from BarleyQue in 1:52 seconds in front of former Eagles Brian Westbrook and Jeremiah Trotter.

More impressive?
A. The amount of food Kobi threw down?
B. That he wore that jacket before Tom Brady had a chance to.

In all seriousness, it’s good to see B-West out & about after his issues with concussions late in his career. You realize he’s still only 32 years old?? As for Trotter, and speaking strictly as a Giants fan, I still get nervous whenever I see him. He was one of the most underrated defensive players of the past decade.

Had the honor of meeting & hanging out with Junior Seau a handful of times, both when I lived in La Jolla, as well as on the East Coast. We both did some work for the same charity & its devastating to know he was in that much pain.

R.I.P. Tiaina Baul “Junior” Seau (1969 - 2012)

This is just sad. Seau is without a doubt one of the greats that have ever put on a helmet. Not only an icon in San Diego, but a legend around the league. For those who witnessed his ferocity all throughout his career, from USC to New England, you know what a loss this is.

This is just the worst.

R.I.P Junior Seau (1969 - 2012)

At first I was caught off guard by Seau’s suicide and then I was reminded by twitter about Seau’s “car accident” a while back:

@SI_LeeJenkins: Two years ago, Seau drove his car off a cliff in San Diego. Said he fell asleep, wasn’t trying to commit suicide

The thought that Seau might have been trying to end his life for nearly two years makes the situation that much worse. Makes you wonder how far back his pain goes and how much he struggled through all the years.
